DAY 1 - International travel (via
Lufthansa and Croatia Air*) to Split, Croatia. Airline
meals
DAY 2 - Split / BIOGRAD TOWN Arrival
in Croatia and journey to Split where we meet the group
and joint transfer to Biograd town
in the afternoon. Accomodation & welcome dinner on the
M/B Ivana and introduction with the crew and the guide.
We enjoy our first evening on the Adriatic Sea getting
familiar with our boating adventure. Dinner on board. D
DAY 3 - BIOGRAD / ZIRGE ISLAND /DRVENIK After breakfast
on the boat we launch with an early morning sailing for the island of Zirje.
Upon arrival we will have a short refreshing swim in the sea and begin our first
cycling adventure. The coves along its long coastal line make this a special
island for up close discovery while underway we will find unique viewa of the
island’s vineyards, landscape, and the shape of Kornati archipelago.
We return to the Ivana for lunch and depart for the Island of Drvenik for
overnight. Dinner in Drvenik. Riding: 20 km (12 plus miles) B

DAY 4 - DRVENIK / VELI / SOLTA Following
breakfast we will tour the Island Drvenik Veli,
and then to the Island of Solta.
There we dock in the village of Maslinica on
Solta—the only village situated on the western
part of the island. Leaving with our bikes we ride across
the island to the village of Stomorska situated
at the foot of sanctuary of Our Lady of Stomorija
(St.Maria) or Our Lady of Pines
(Gospe od Bori). It is the oldest coastal village,
going back to 17th the century. Rosemary fields abound in
this area. In the time of French rule in Dalmatia a special
commission declared that Solta’s honey to be best in all
of Europe. Today the island’s honey comes from bees feasting
on cultivated rosemary. After dinner we have an overnight
sailing to the Island Korcula. Island
Drvenik Veli Riding: 5kms-10kms. We enjoy the beauty
of this small exclusive island on our way to Solta. Island

DAY 5 - KORCULA / VELA LUKA We
launch on our bikes after breakfast on Korcula,
where we start from the town Vela Luka known
for folk singing and dancing. A magical ride today awaits
through pine forest, vineyards, and olive tree groves. On
our way we will visit the vinery where famous island’s white
wine Posip is being made. Our lunch stop of homemade regional
specialties is at a unique Dalmatian restaurant called “konoba.” Fortified,
we continue our ride to the medieval town of Korcula the
birthplace of explorer Marco Polo. The Ivana is waiting for
us in Korcula and we will have
time for independent exploring of this charming town. Riding: 50

DAY 6 - MIJET / MIJET NATIONAL PARK
/ CAVTAT TOWN Our adventure begins after breakfast
and involves ancient Greek mythology. According to Homer,
King of Itaka survived a shipwreck on his way back home from
the Trojan War. Odysseus swam into a cave for shelter and
there nymph Calypso, daughter of Poseidon, God of the sea,
waited for him. Amazed by the beauty of the nature and in
love with nymph, Calypso, Odysseus stayed on the island for
seven years. This is the Island of Mljet.
Our morning ride takes us through Mljet National
Park past pristine lakes—known locally as the
Big Lake and the Small Lake. We will lunch on the small island
on the Big Lake. After lunch we will continue our ride across Mljet to
the fishermen’s village where our boat will be waiting. We
sail in the evening for Cavtat town. Riding: 35–40

DAY 7 - CAVTAT TOWN / KONAVLE / DUBROVNIK At
breakfast we have a morning arrival to Cavtat town,
ancient and older than Dubrovnik.
In the tempo of island life, we can go 'native' and enjoy
our morning cappuccino in one of the picturesque town’s cafes.
Our ride takes us through the orchards and vineyards of the
region of Konavle the southern
most part of Croatia. We will visit the sanctuary of God
Mitra dating from 2nd century and then head for the local
vinery where a special wine tasting with local specialties
has been arranged for us. The lunch is home-made by our vineyard
hosts. After lunch our biking tour continues towards the
old mill and the 15th century Franciscan monastery. Following
our new adventures of Island life we return to the boat for
an evening sailing to the jewel of the Adriatic—the walled
city of Dubrovnik. Docked, we will
have time for a walk at dusk before dinner. Riding: 40
km Late afternoon: arrival to city of Dubrovnik, short walking
and coffee in the Old Town B & D on the
boat, homemade lunch & vineyard visit including wine tasting
and regional specialities
DAY 8 - DUBROVNIK PELJESAC PENINSULA/
OREBIC After breakfast we take an early departure
from Dubrovnik heading to the Peninsula
Peljesac. Peljesac has
an impressive mountain range Sv. Ilija, which rises almost
1000m from the sea. Our tour takes us from village Trstenik through
the most famous wine growing area in Croatia, the area Dingac.
On our way to the point of the peninsula, a paradise for
wind surfers, we will visit the seaman's town Orebic.

DAY 9 - HVAR /STARI GRAD
/ BRAC Island Hvar: After breakfast, the morning
is free to explore this magical town Hvar with its big renaissance
square and cathedral surrounded by late gothic palaces, a
ancient theatre, and Spanish fortress. By bike we will wend
through the landscape of this little island through villages
with picturesque, charming stone houses on our way to the
historic town Stari Grad. In Stari
Grad a special lunch is prepared for us by
Auntie Anci of Hvar Island specialties.
Our afternoon itinerary has us riding leisurely through Roman
archeological sites towards seacoast village Jelsa.
The Ivana is waiting for us and we journey to the Island
Brac. Riding: 40 km B & D on

DAY 10 - BRAC/ POSTIRA TROGIR TOWN After
breakfast, we'll explore the Island Brac,
its stone landscapes, olive groves, and sheep dotting the
hillsides. Brac is home of the most beautiful beach on the
Adriatic coast, the Golden Horn.
The tour starts with a long but gradual climb to the ridge
of the island, across Brac to the
village Pucisca and its quarry
of Brac marble. Our Washington D.C. White House is constructed
from Brac marble. We continue to Dol,
a typical Brac village where we will have homemade lunch.
The boat is waiting for us in the sea village fishermen village Postira and
we’ll have a chance to a swim before embarking the Ivana
for Trogir Town. Riding: 40

DAY 11 - TROGIR TOWN Our Dalmatian
island tour takes us by boat to Trogir town.
By morning light we will discover Trogir town,
founded in 3rd century B.C. by Greek colonists. Trogir is
a living museum and gives an wonderful sense of its history
as we walk its narrow streets before our departure for home,
or extensions into Croatia or elsewhere. We will also have
an opportunity to explore Split.
DAY 12 - Split We have a
special finale evening planned and an overnight included
because of our early departure to the USA.
